Skill Requirements:Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Esthetician certification
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Work Experience: Cosmetician/cosmetologist, Esthetician
Work Setting: Esthetician's salon
Cosmetics/Cosmetology Skills: Provide general information to customers on beauty products, Advise on beauty products suited to customers' colouring and skin type, Apply make-up on customers
Esthetics Skills: Exfoliation treatments, Eyebrow tinting, Facials, Foot massage, Manicures, Pedicures, Skin care
Electrolysis Skills: Permanent hair removal, Laser hair removal, Spider vein treatments, Ear piercing, Computerized equipment utilization
Additional Skills: Perform cashiering duties, Provide product demonstrations, Sell establishments products
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
Other Information: Must have a passion and a strong retail sales background. Be a positive and constructive team player. computer skills an asset. Hours between 25-30 hours. Must be mature, reliable and trustworthy.
